During your first visit, Dr. Oskardmay reviews the patient history and performs a comprehensive physical exam to determine the best plan of action and treatment plan for each person. She uses hands-on palpation of the spine and extremities, providing crucial insight into each person’s problem areas, causes of pain, and needs. Incorporating gait analysis review and posture evaluation, she comes to an understanding of where imbalance may exist. Additionally, she inquires regarding each patient’s past medical history, medications, vitamins, and other aspects to gain further insight.
Once treatment begins, the Doctor relaxes the muscles with gentle massage. Using activator technique or hands-on mobilization techniques, she adjusts misaligned vertebral units. The chiropractic adjustment is a very safe procedure performed by a licensed chiropractic physician such as Dr. Lisa Oskardmay.
